We just saw this video from Sephora. Looks like Kat Von D has just released a brand new line of makeup and cosmetics. We’re loving all the dark, sultry colors in the eye palette. These colors are perfectly fabulous for any pinup session! Time to head over to our Sephora in Green Hills and check out this new line…

We’ve been hosting a handful of pinup parties lately. Here are a few more of our most recent bombshells. These gals were SO much fun. This pinup-themed bachelorette party was planned over the course of several weeks and the bride asked everyone to wear black/white/red. Don’t they look fabulous!? Love all the personality! Just a few weeks ago, our studio played host to a group of women from across the country. We hinted about this event just a few days before all the gals flew into town. When the bride’s sister-in-law found our site, she contacted us immediately to get more details and confirm a date on our schedule. We absolutely loved getting to know these gals!

Women flew into Music City from Arizona, Colorado and Texas for this special pinup-inspired bachelorette weekend to celebrate with bride-to-be J! Over the next several days we’ll be featuring the party-goers, the hostess, the bride (of course!) and a special video we created to commemorate their fabulously fun day!

That’s right. A bombshell badge! Victoria’s Secret’s latest marketing campaign is bombshell-themed, so everything they’re talking about these days has to do with being a bombshell…and we’re all about it!

Several of us here in the studio are on Foursquare (a location-based social media site). One day we discovered that a friend had “checked into” Victoria’s Secret so many times that she had earned the bombshell badge from Foursquare! Pretty cool! Whether you’ve “earned” the badge or not…we think you’re a bombshell! XOXO

I don’t recall how I discovered Frou Frou Fashionista, but it was love at first sight.

According to their site, Frou Frou Fashionista “showcases the limitless styling options with lingerie and inspires readers to build their own intimate apparel wardrobe.  It also aims to redefine the lingerie industry in a positive light; demystifying the stigma created by the less classy side of the industry and revealing its very glamorous potential.”

The gals behind the blog are a mother-daughter team who also run a super-lovely, award-winning luxury lingerie boutique just outside Los Angeles called Faire Frou Frou. We LOVE what they’re doing and feel like we need to make a special trip out to California to take in all the loveliness of their boutique in-person! Here are some of our favorite photos from their blog. SUCH a great place to find inspiration for your boudoir session!

While we like doing fun things with makeup like accentuating eye colors and sculpting a more defined cheekbone, we know that sometimes Mother Nature rears her ugly head with a breakout or skin irritation. Other times maybe you’ve had a late night or you have a head cold and you just don’t quite feel bombshell-worthy. Never fear. We have some fabulous tips for you, thanks to BreBeauty, a fabulous blog about beauty, makeup and skincare.

Have a pimple? First off, don’t mess with it! That only causes further redness and irritation. Consider playing up another feature to divert attention away from the problem area. So, for a blemish on your forehead or temple, amp up your lips with a red or poppy-colored lipstick or lipgloss. On the opposite side, if the pimple is on your chin, go for nude or clear lip gloss and use dark or bright eye colors.

Dealing with redness or irritated skin? Start by applying a bit of moisturizer to the irritated area. (My go-to product is Rodan+Fields Dermatologists SOOTHE Sensitive Skin Treatment.) Next, use a yellow-based foundation or tinted moisturizer to help even out the redness in your skin. Avoid red or red-toned lip color, as this will draw attention to the redness in your skin.

Last week I had the privilege of running a boudoir session for a lovely group of amazing Nashville women.

Several of these gals are amazing bloggers and are active in the local social media circles. I’m so honored to share with you a blog post that one of them wrote about their experience with Bombshell Creative.

We’re SO stoked for this Saturday. We’re going to have a studio full of  women from all over the country here to celebrate a friend’s bachelorette party! Several week ago, the bride’s future sister-in-law called to inquire about our boudoir party services and we were so happy to get them on our schedule!

Gals are flying into Nashville from Colorado, Texas and Arizona to spend a weekend here in Music City and a devote a whole afternoon to a pinup party with us!

I just snagged a bag full of false eyelashes as part of our pinup party prep…stay tuned for party coverage! Can’t wait to share these amazing bombshells with you!

We still have a small backlog of amazing images from one of the pinup parties here at our Nashville studio, so today I’m happy to share with you party gal T. This woman has the most calm, gentle, sweet personality…and she is equally balanced with a sultry, yet tough side, which was certainly made apparent in her boudoir session. She arrived at our studio toting a gun (unloaded!) and a lovely red guitar. How fun?! And yes, that is her man’s shirt…
